Testimonials

My 17 year old show gelding greatly benefits from his time with Katie. He enjoys the many modalities Katie offers; such as tendon and ligament work, stretching and red light/laser. Katie treats my horse as an individual and an athlete, paying close attention to his feedback and adjusting her treatment plan accordingly when needed. Katie is patient and thorough in her evaluation, including ongoing conversations with me regarding this horse's history and current behavior. I highly recommend her for any equine athlete!

FAQ

  • Complete a health history and release for your horse.
  • Have your horse in the barn or arena ready for the service.
  • Have your horse clean.
  • If your horse is high energy or excitable, exercise them about an hour before massage.
  • Have a halter and lead rope available, if not already on your horse.
  • I do not accept a horse who is aggressive and territorial.
  • If I feel my safety is at risk, I reserve the right to stop the massage.

Your horse should have at least 2 hours off from any work after bodywork. It would be even better to have a full 24 hours off to give their body a chance to accept the changes that have taken place during treatment.

I am a licensed massage therapist with over 23 years of experience working with people, with years of continuing education in multiple modalities. I have loved horses my entire life. My education for equine massage was done in Darien, WI, at Therasage Equine Massage at SMILES Therapeutic Riding Center. I am insured and can provide proof if you require it.

I have undying gratitude for the ability to help restore balance within your horse. I personalize treatment plans, tailoring the treatment to each horse's needs.
